Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee the Mechanical scope of works to ensure conformance with contract documents and procedures.
  2. Review, approve, and process all Mechanical technical submittals.
  3. Respond to RFIs related to Mechanical systems.
  4. Coordinate and supervise Mechanical activities and operations.
  5. Review contractors' Mechanical change order proposals and provide recommendations to the Project Manager.
  6. Liaise with sub-consultants to ensure seamless project execution.
  7. Review contractors' claims related to Mechanical works and provide recommendations.
  8. Review project record documents relevant to Mechanical discipline.
  9. Manage Mechanical inspectors to ensure quality control.
  10. Analyze laboratory and testing reports to ensure compliance.
  11. Assist with the inspection of completed works and monitor the start-up, testing, commissioning, and handover of Mechanical systems.
  12. Sign off on completed Mechanical works with completed documentation.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Minimum 15 years of experience in Construction Administration, with a minimum of 5 years in the UAE and 5 years in the Middle East with international consultant firms.
  3. Strong technical background and expertise in Mechanical systems, products, and materials.
  4. Excellent knowledge of Mechanical design and construction codes.
  5. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Office business solutions, including Excel and Word.
  7. Ability to review and comment on necessary documentation.
  8. Excellent understanding of specifications and Authority requirements.
  9. Complete project understanding in the Mechanical discipline, from start to handover.
