Job Description

The Executive Director-Corporate Banking Group will lead a team of professionals responsible for managing and growing large account portfolios and client relationships for assigned portfolio in the Corporate Banking Group segment. The role involves improving service quality levels and supervising subordinates' day-to-day activities and client interactions to ensure team objectives are constantly met and revenue targets achieved while maintaining client satisfaction and portfolio credit quality.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Analysis: Participate in the financial analysis conducted on clients and their respective industries/markets to identify potential opportunities and risks.
  2. New Business Opportunities: Originate new business opportunities with target clients across banking products.
  3. Deal Structuring: Develop Term Sheet, Information Memorandum, mandate letter, etc.
  4. Risk Management: Examine & resolve credit market and operational risk aspects of transactions in collaboration with products and enablement units.
  5. Pitching and Negotiation: Pitch, review, negotiate, and conclude deals.
  6. Team Management: Motivate, develop, and coach team members.
  7. Credit Quality: Maintain credit quality of client relationships within portfolio to an acceptable level set by Bank's management.
  8. Performance Targets: Achieve individual and team financial performance targets.
  9. Cross-Selling Opportunities: Identify & develop cross-selling opportunities and increase cross-sell ratio with key clients.
  10. Account Planning: Ensure Account Plans are prepared and maintained for all key clients.
  11. Client File Management: Ensure all client files/documents are maintained.
  12. Credit Reviews: Ensure all credit reviews are submitted on time and agreed conditions are met.
  13. Audit: Maintain satisfactory audit on portfolio.
  14. Training and Development: Attend appropriate on- and off-the-job training programs and ensure development and skill upgradation of team members.
  15. Internal Processes: Ensure that all internal processes for existing portfolio and NTBs are met in line with Bank's policies & procedures.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance or related discipline.
  • Preferred Qualification: Master's degree in Business Administration.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:
  • Knowledge of banking sector and FAB's products and business strategies.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adjust quickly to changing priorities.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Ability to analyze and research information.
  • Banking software systems proficiency.
  • Data analysis and financial modeling skills.
  • Credit analysis and FOREX skills.
  • Communication skills.
