Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Welding Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our training faculty, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive blacksmithing and welding training programs to students of different skill levels and learning styles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Deliver Training Programs: Create and implement blacksmithing and welding training programs that cater to diverse skill levels and learning styles.
  • Master Techniques and Safety Protocols: Demonstrate proper techniques and safety protocols in traditional blacksmithing and modern welding processes, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
  • Provide Individualized Guidance: Offer one-on-one guidance and support to students to help them hone their skills and overcome challenges.
  • Assess Progress and Provide Feedback: Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Maintain knowledge of industry trends and advancements in blacksmithing and welding technologies.
  • Foster Cultural Exchange: Facilitate communication and cultural exchange between students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Contribute to Training Facilities: Assist in the development and maintenance of training facilities and equipment.
Requirements
  • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as metalworking, engineering, or art.
  • Experience: Minimum 35 years of hands-on experience as a blacksmith and welder, with a proven track record of success in both disciplines.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in both Arabic and English is an advantage, with the ability to effectively communicate theoretical and practical knowledge in both languages.
  • Teaching Experience: Minimum 35 years of experience as a welding instructor or trainer is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in various blacksmithing and welding techniques, including forging, shaping, cutting, joining, and finishing metals.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Safe and Inclusive Environment: Ability to create a safe and inclusive learning environment where everyone feels welcome and respected.
  • Passion for Teaching: A genuine desire to inspire and empower others, with a passion for teaching and mentorship.
  • Certifications: Certifications in welding or blacksmithing disciplines are an asset.
