Responsibilities:
- Forge and shape future talents: Develop anddeliver comprehensive blacksmithing and welding training programsadapting them to different skill levels and learningstyles.
- Master the flame and torch:Demonstrate proper techniques and safety protocols in bothtraditional blacksmithing and modern welding processes (MIG TIG arcwelding etc.).
- Guide hand and mind: Provideindividualized guidance and support to students helping them honetheir skills and overcome challenges.
- Fan theflames of learning: Assess student progress and provideconstructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
- Stay apace of the forge: Keep uptodate on industry trendsand advancements in blacksmithing and weldingtechnologies.
- Build a bridge of understanding:Facilitate communication and cultural exchange between studentsfrom diverse backgrounds.
- Beyond the craft:Contribute to the development and maintenance of trainingfacilities and equipment.
Qualifications:
- A burning passion for metal: Minimum Bachelorsdegree in a related field such as metalworking engineering orart.
- Tempered by experience: Minimum 35 yearsof handson experience as a blacksmith and welder with a proventrack record of success in both disciplines.
- Bilingual brilliance: Fluency in both Arabic and Englishis an advantage with the ability to effectively communicatetheoretical and practical knowledge in both languages.
- A teachers torch: Minimum 35 years of experience as awelding instructor or trainer is highly desirable.
- Master of many fires: Proficiency in a variety ofblacksmithing and welding techniques including forging shapingcutting joining and finishing metals.
- The giftof clear communication: Strong communication and interpersonalskills to effectively engage with students from diversebackgrounds.
- A safe and inclusive forge: Theability to create a safe and inclusive learning environment whereeveryone feels welcome and respected.
- A firein your heart: A passion for teaching and mentorship with a genuinedesire to inspire and empower others.
- Certifications in welding or blacksmithingdisciplines.
