About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team at Talent Pal. As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing cross-functional business support, including third-party warehouse and inventory management, delivery performance optimization, and end-to-end purchase and sales order management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage third-party warehouse and inventory, monitoring deliveries and reducing lead times.
  • Ensure the level of service provided by logistics partners meets our standards.
  • End-to-end management of purchase and sales orders.
  • Identify and highlight stock and barcode discrepancies.
  • Support shipping within regions and ensure all shipping requirements are met.
  • Manage and prioritize third-party warehouses' inbound stock and outbound order processing.
  • Forecast and book weekly airfreight and sea freight volumes.
  • Check stock receipts and report discrepancies to production and retail planning teams.
  • Investigate stock discrepancies and report findings to the Supply Chain 3PL Manager.
  • Manage biannual stock takes and spot counts.
  • Prepare necessary documentation for imports and exports.
  • Monitor customs clearance and resolve issues with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
  • Coordinate with Master Data Management (MDM) teams for store location and item creation.
  • Establish and enforce data reconciliation protocols.
  • Develop Policy & Procedure (P&P) documentation.
  • Act as a checks and balances function to ensure data accuracy.
  • Process purchase orders in the transactional CORE system.
  • Generate accurate system transfers for stock movements.
  • Track shipment status and manage necessary documentation.
  • Provide instructions to warehouses for pick and pack.
  • Monitor final mile delivery and ensure successful completion.
  • Communicate with internal teams and request allocation lists for replenishment.
  • Issue weekly packaging SOH reports and conduct stock takes.
  • Facilitate coordination between retail staff and warehouses.
  • Issue relevant documentation and follow up with clients for shipping.
  • Ensure all customer shipping requirements are met.
  • Coordinate with warehouse office and sales teams for clarification.

Finance/Inventory Management:

  • Identify reasons for discrepancies in invoice matching and escalate to RDBS Manager.
  • Raise replacement purchase orders or debit/credit notes.
  • Produce insightful reports on inventory reconciliation.
  • Assist with biannual stocktake reporting.
  • Efficiently process carryforward styles stock adjustments.

Requirements:

We are looking for a University Degree in Business Administration or a related quantitative field, with 25 years of related experience in retail. Knowledge of ORACLE (RMS RPM RDW) is an added advantage. You should be an effective communicator with a collaborative approach, results-driven with high accuracy and attention to detail, and experience working in a dynamic environment with a flexible approach.
