Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and attentive Dining Room Server to join our team at Rosewood Abu Dhabi. As a key member of our Food and Beverage team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take Food and Beverage Orders: Take food and beverage orders from guests, utilizing suggestive selling techniques to enhance their dining experience.
  • Serve Food and Beverages: Retrieve and serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all orders are accurate and presented in a visually appealing way.
  • Manage Table Settings: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of tables, ensuring that all settings are complete and ready for guests.
  • Process Payments: Present guest checks and process payments through the Cashier, adhering to payment, cash handling, and credit policies/procedures.
  • Provide Exceptional Service: Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, maintaining a positive and friendly demeanor at all times.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment: Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the dining area, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work cohesively with colleagues to ensure seamless service, maintaining open communication and a positive team dynamic.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum three years' experience as a waiter or in a similar role.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Skills: Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy; prioritize, organize, and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest's service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
  • Language: Required to speak, read, and write English, with fluency in other languages preferred.
  • Licenses & Certifications: Minimum 21 years of age to serve alcohol.
