Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and organized individual to lead and manage a team of 15-20 grocery store supervisors across a geographical area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the performance of in-store grocery order fulfillment processes, including pick, pack, and handover to riders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of grocery store supervisors.
  • Supervise performance of in-store grocery order fulfillment process.
  • Ensure strict adherence to food handling and packing SOPs.
  • Develop store-specific processes/workflows where required.
  • Handle real-time coordination with customer care and rider teams.
  • Work closely with 3PLs - picker recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Manage rostering of pickers and store supervisors.
  • Manage performance, coach, and train store supervisors.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years previous job experience in order fulfillment and management of pickers.
  • 2-3 years' experience of order fulfillment operations in grocery stores.
  • Data-driven decision making - comfortable with Excel/Google sheet and dashboards.
  • Basic food handling experience.
  • Has managed a large team of pickers before.
  • Well organized, able to multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Open-minded; continually seeks to find new and creative ways to accomplish tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Effective issue resolution skills.
  • Passion, enthusiasm, reliability, and drive results in present capacity.
