Job Description:

The Post-Contract MEP QS Engineer is responsible for managing the financial aspects of MEP projects after contract award, ensuring effective cost control, tracking variations, and assessing contractor claims. This role involves preparing bills of quantities, financial reports, and project cost management, guaranteeing that the project remains within budget while meeting all contractual obligations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Post-contract cost control, including tracking project variations and contractor claims.
  • Preparation and review of cost reports, financial documents, and cost estimations for MEP works.
  • Ensuring MEP works are executed within budget and monitoring potential cost overruns.
  • Coordination with project management teams to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Assistance in contract administration and ensuring compliance with contract terms.
  • Detailed financial updates and reports to senior management.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in post-contract quantity surveying for MEP projects.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in cost estimation software and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to relocate for project site assignments.
