Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Management
    • Manage cash and change requirements for the hotel, ensuring accurate and efficient transactions.
    • Maintain and disperse funds from the house fund safe and petty cash fund, accounting for all disbursements.
    • Perform daily house bank counts to ensure accuracy and security.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to guests and colleagues, adhering to Paramount Hotels and Resorts guidelines.
    • Collect and verify remittance envelopes from the drop-safe, ensuring accuracy and security.
  • Financial Reporting
    • Prepare bank deposits of all cheques and cash, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
    • Record and report all cash and checks received from the Accounts Receivable section and by mail/courier.

Requirements

  • Education
    • University degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Skills
    • Ability to analyze complex financial information and create reports, forecasts, and projections.
    • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively address issues in collaboration with others.
    • Good understanding of financial operating systems and procedures.
    • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook, with the ability to quickly learn new programs.
