The Emirates Group ME is seeking a skilled Technical Writer to support the development of technical documentation for our facilities maintenance operations. This role involves writing, editing, and proofreading technical publications as part of our internal IT operations system documents.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Documentation: Read and interpret technical network drawings to document processes and procedures.
- Document Preparation: Provide technical writing, document preparation, editing, proofreading, and coordination consistent with standard practices for the development and production of project deliverables.
- Research and Analysis: Gather technical data, research, and analyze technical data to ensure products meet editorial standards.
- Compliance and Governance: Document information to support compliance with NIST, NIST 800-53, and CMMC.
- Project Collaboration: Work with project and customer staff in the formulation, development, and editing of project documentation, deliverables, and training documentation to ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Technical Documentation Creation: Create and revise complex technical documentation to support the operation, repair, compliance, and maintenance of company products. Ensure documents conform to company and government standards and specifications.
- Cloud SaaS Systems: Research and consult with IT staff on Cloud SaaS systems to create and revise technical documentation and diagrams. Analyze and interpret drawings and other technical data to translate information into technical documentation.
- IT and Security Controls: Basic understanding of IT and Security Controls such as NIST SP or ISO or NIST SP.
- Technical Understanding: Ability to understand the technology and document processes and procedures on how it is implemented.
- Network and System Drawings: Ability to create, understand, and interpret network and system drawings.
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to take ownership and manage stakeholders.
- Experience with Microsoft Suite including Visio for flow diagrams.
- Understanding of Software as a Service Cloud Model and documentation on any SaaS Product such as M365.
- Bachelor's Degree with 4 or more years of experience.
- Additional directly related experience can offset the degree requirements.
