Role Summary

Main Responsibilities
- Develop and refine specialized laboratory tests for patient sample analysis, focusing on areas like HLA molecular testing and PCR amplification.
- Maintain stringent quality control measures to ensure precise and reliable test results.
- Proactively address technical issues and regulatory compliance, leveraging analytical skills to optimize lab performance.
- Cultivate effective communication channels between clinical and laboratory teams, facilitating seamless collaboration and information exchange.
- Mentor junior staff members, fostering a culture of support and teamwork.

Key Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting since initial certification as a qualified laboratory science professional.
- Hold evidence of progressive leadership and management experience within a clinical context.
Essential Qualifications
- Possess a BSc degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, Biomedical Science, or equivalent qualification requiring a minimum of two years' training.
- Hold either a DOH or DHA license.
