We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance across all NMC laboratory operations.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in quality management systems, local regulatory standards, and accreditation processes. You will be responsible for monitoring and standardizing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across laboratory operations, overseeing the accreditation process for our laboratories, and conducting internal audits to assess compliance with regulatory standards and quality management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and standardize KPIs across laboratory operations to ensure consistency, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee and manage the accreditation process for our laboratories, ensuring compliance with NMC accreditation standards, local regulatory requirements, ISO 15189, and JCI.
  • Conduct internal audits to assess laboratory compliance with regulatory standards and quality management systems.
  • Develop and implement corrective actions for non-compliance or areas requiring improvement, ensuring timely resolution and optimal performance.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field, and a Master's degree or postgraduate qualification in Quality Assurance or equivalent experience. You will also require certifications in Quality Management or qualifications in Leadership, and at least 5 years of experience working as a Quality Analyst or in a senior quality management role.
