Job Title: Public Health Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Health Engineer to join our team at Stantec. As a Public Health Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing public health systems that promote the well-being of communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop public health systems, including water and drainage piping, fire protection systems, and water heating systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of public health systems with other building services.
  • Work under the supervision of a Senior Engineer and be accountable for specific discipline designer activities assigned to you.
Requirements:
  • Must be a Mechanical Engineer with a recognized degree from a nationally accredited engineering program.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience working in an international design firm, with a focus on building services design.
  • Proven experience in public health design.
  • Ideal experience with HX2 IES or Hevacomp.
  • Ideal certification in MASHRAE or MCIBSE.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and proper drafting methods and techniques.
  • Strong understanding of standard industry software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
  • Working knowledge of computer programs and web-based applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Logical and analytical thinking.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Healthcare/hospital experience is a plus.
