Position Overview

As a Room Service Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service in a timely manner. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Task Execution: Carry out duties as directed by your immediate supervisor and adhere to the duty schedule.
  • Order Management: Engage directly in the order-taking and placement process, addressing guest requests with courtesy, efficiency, and promptness.
  • Menu Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of all menus and current promotions, providing recommendations to guests as needed.
  • Professional Appearance: Uphold high standards of grooming and appearance while on duty.
  • Communication: Answer Room Service telephones as required, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Familiarization: Stay informed about all relevant aspects of Room Service operations.
  • Reporting: Notify your immediate supervisor of any cleanliness or maintenance concerns.
  • Training Participation: Attend regular training sessions aligned with departmental SOPs, including guest care, product knowledge, grooming standards, and telephone etiquette.
  • Flexibility: Be open to assisting in other areas as requested by your immediate supervisor.
  • Policy Adherence: Understand and comply with the company's internal policies and safety procedures, while also undertaking additional tasks assigned by the Room Service Manager.
