  • Assembly and Installation: Execute the assembly, installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical and electronic wiring, equipment, devices, tools, and fixtures using both hand and power tools.
  • Fault Diagnosis: Identify and rectify faults in electrical or electronic systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Connection of Components: Connect wires to circuit switches, transformers, and other electrical components, ensuring secure and compliant installations.
  • Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems, equipment, and components to detect hazards, defects, and necessary adjustments, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
  • Advisory Role: Provide informed recommendations to management regarding the safe operation of equipment.
  • Testing: Utilize testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to assess electrical systems and circuit continuity, confirming compatibility and integrity.
  • Planning: Strategically plan the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and appliances in accordance with job specifications and local regulations.
  • Grounding and Power Connections: Install grounding wires and connect power cables to various equipment, including motors.
  • Repair and Replacement: Perform repairs or replacements of wiring, equipment, and appliances using appropriate tools.
  • Conduit Installation: Place conduits within walls or hidden areas and pull insulated wires or cables through to complete circuits.
  • Emergency Assistance: Provide support during emergencies by operating floodlights and generators, as well as driving necessary vehicles.
Qualifications
  • Preferred: Diploma in Electricity.
  • Desired: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Certifications from recognized technical institutions such as ITI or TESDA.
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in technical operations and maintenance within the MEP sector in a large facilities management or building management environment.
