GateSource HR is seeking a Head of ESG to join Clyde & Co. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental responsibility, community relations, and governance. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and enhancing the ESG function, implementing and monitoring key ESG performance indicators, and maintaining and improving controls and processes to best practice standards. The role will involve working closely with senior management and the Board to ensure the company performs in compliance with local and international ESG standards. Key responsibilities will include establishing an ESG committee, governance structure, and associated terms of reference, driving the implementation of strategic and tactical ESG priorities and projects, and engaging with financial investors, customers, industry associations, and other external stakeholders on ESG and sustainability issues. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Sciences or Environmental Studies, proven experience in strategic thinking and planning, senior-level engagement, and operational experience in ESG and sustainability. Strong knowledge of ESG topics and community relation management in Canada, particularly in British Columbia, is essential. The successful candidate will be an experienced leader who can analyze data, communicate and present clearly, and make strategic recommendations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage senior stakeholders, are also required. Market-related package.
