Job Title: Senior CAD Technician

We are seeking an experienced CAD Technician/Highways Designer to join our Strategic Transport Business in the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Completion of assigned tasks in accordance with Atkins Quality Manual and Procedures
  • Coordination with other design disciplines to ensure timely completion of drawings, reports, and plans
  • Working closely with Project Managers and planning department staff to deliver high-quality transport planning/access studies
Requirements:
  • Certificates in CAD and a minimum of 10 years of experience in regional highway design
  • Strong working knowledge of GCC Highway Design Practices and experience in designing and 'working up' appropriate road layouts
  • Competence with Microsoft Office suite of software and ability to communicate in English effectively, both written and spoken
  • Ability to learn and retain new skills quickly and work with limited supervision
  • Experience of people and team management and competence to assist in growing the Atkins Transport Planning Business
