Piping Design Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Piping Design Expert to join our team at Technip Energies. As a Piping Design Expert, you will be responsible for developing plot plans and equipment layouts, performing piping routing studies, and establishing pipe rack configurations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop plot plans and equipment layouts
  • Perform piping routing studies, especially for compressors, pumps, and air-cooled exchangers
  • Establish pipe rack configurations
  • Perform 3D equipment modeling
  • Perform piping modeling using SP3D/E3D and pipe supports modeling using SP3D & MDS based on piping studies
  • Route minor lines and incorporate modifications and changes
  • Perform various checks, including RDB and clash checks
  • Produce piping-related drawings, including details and isometrics
  • Extract isometrics and piping GA drawings from the 3D model
  • Perform piping MTO
  • Coordinate with other designers and engineers
  • Report progress and check/comment on vendor drawings

Requirements:

  • Holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 16 years of experience in oil/gas onshore and offshore facilities
  • Well-experienced in developing plot plans, equipment layouts, and piping studies
  • At least 7 years of working experience in 3D environment using SP3D/E3D software
  • Experience as an Area Lead Designer and guiding a team of designers
  • Proficiency in software like AutoCAD, Microstation, etc.
  • Field engineering experience is an added advantage
