Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough medical histories and examinations of patients from birth to 20 years of age, ordering diagnostic tests and interpreting results to determine medical conditions.
  • Communicate test results and explain treatments or medical procedures with patients and their families.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication therapy, vaccinations, and specialized medical care, to prevent or treat diseases, injuries, and illnesses.
  • Provide education and guidance to patients, parents, and community members on disease prevention methods, including activity, diet, hygiene, and other relevant topics.
  • Design and implement community healthcare programs to promote the physical and mental development of children and adolescents.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of therapists, assistants, nurses, students, and other support staff, referring patients to specialists or other physicians when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical history, exams, medications, vaccination information, diagnosis, treatment plans, and prognosis.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine and specialization degree in Pediatrics.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • Current state medical license.
  • Minimum four years of pediatric experience.
