Main Responsibilities:

  1. Bill and Manage Cash: Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payments. Ensure accurate invoicing and record-keeping for jewellery items.
  2. Serve Customers: Greet customers warmly, answer payment-related questions, and handle exchanges, refunds, and returns according to company policies.
  3. Stock and Reconcile: Maintain updated stock records for jewellery items during billing and perform daily cash reconciliation to identify discrepancies.
  4. Compliance and Security: Adhere to cash handling and jewellery security protocols, ensuring compliance with all company policies and regulations.
  5. Addtional Tasks: Assist in packaging and secure handling of jewellery items, and support the sales team during busy periods.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a cashier, preferably in the jewellery industry.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in accounting or finance is a plus.
  • Proficiency in operating billing systems and POS machines.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills for accurate billing and cash reconciliation.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to assist customers effectively.
