Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting and Administrative Professional to join our team at Score Plus - The Princeton Review Middle East. This dual-role position is crucial for maintaining our financial records and ensuring smooth administrative operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts, oversee daily bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Financial Reporting: Reconcile bank statements, ensure discrepancies are resolved promptly, and prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Administrative Support: Supervise, mentor, and train junior team members, delegate tasks, and ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting functions.
  • HR Management: Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives, manage the HR department and its team of employees, and administer employee benefits programs.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations, including VAT filing and reporting, and stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience: 2-3+ years of experience in accounting and human resources management.
  • Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, proficiency in Microsoft applications, strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Qualifications: Basic knowledge of UAE tax regulations and compliance requirements, strong knowledge of employment law and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Language: English.
  • License/Certification: Driving License.
