Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Operations Specialist to join our team at Taqeef in Dubai.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the HVAC or MEP industry, supervising the installation and commissioning of commercial and residential projects. A UAE driving license is a mandatory requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee site supervision of VRF, Chillers, or Duct projects and ensure timely completion.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand design requirements and deliver projects within specified specifications.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure subcontractors adhere to designs and meet material specification guidelines.
  • Communicate with the engineering team to discuss project technical aspects, such as design, selection, and more.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including drawings, technical reports, and site inspection reports.
  • Ensure installation works are performed according to company standards and prepare necessary documentation/site reports.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance, provide feedback, and escalate concerns to the project operations team.
  • Prepare estimate cost-based on-site inspection for presales projects.
  • Provide regular progress reports to the Senior Engineer – Project Operations.
  • Adhere to and maintain health and safety procedures, ensuring appropriate PPE availability on sites.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset.
  • At least 5 years of experience in construction, MEP, and HVAC industries.
  • Strong knowledge of site supervision, inspection, and quality control.
  • In-depth understanding of engineering concepts, building, construction, and design.
  • Strong knowledge of Duct, VRF, Chillers, and Packaged products.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Hands-on experience using AutoCAD.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
