Main Purpose of the Role

The Specialist Emergency Physician will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centric care in an emergency setting. This involves ensuring compliance with ethical and professional standards set by the company and regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive, professional, and ethical clinical services to patients in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Monitor and manage clinical risks associated with direct patient care, ensuring a safe and secure environment.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical governance and quality management standards, maintaining the highest level of medical practice.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Focus on continuous professional development, ensuring excellence in medical practice and staying updated on the latest medical knowledge and techniques.
  • Execute clinical services in an ethical and responsible manner, maintaining integrity in professional services.
Required Education and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a basic medical degree and completion of a specialty qualification/education program (fellowship/diploma) recognized by the relevant UAE healthcare authority.

Certification and registration in a specialty recognized by the relevant UAE healthcare authority are also required.

Active and valid life support certification (e.g. BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP) is necessary.

Desired qualifications include specialty-specific certifications and experience.

Required Experience

The Specialist Emergency Physician should have at least 3-5 years of post-qualification experience at a Specialist level, independent of country.

Desired experience includes at least 1 year of Specialist level experience from a Tier 1 country as specified by the UAE healthcare regulator.
