The Base Facility Operations Lead is responsible for leading the base facility operations team, ensuring compliance with HSE standards, local legislation, and company policies.
Main Responsibilities:
- Leading the base facility operations team to ensure smooth facility operations
- Implementing facility safety standards across all base facilities and staff houses
- Managing subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures
- Collaborating with PL OMs on sharing resources such as forklifts, overhead cranes, and pressure test bays
- Developing and implementing a preventive maintenance program for major and minor shop components
- Tracking and analyzing monthly utilities consumption at base
- Verifying that all necessary base operating licenses and certifications required by local legislation are in place and valid
- Coordinating with local authorities on implementing their requirements
- Managing transport fleet and carpool, including vehicle allocations, gate passes, vehicle maintenance, and journey management
- Approving permits to work for hazardous activities carried out at base
