Job Summary:

As a Technical Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support to site operations in Engineering and Construction activities to achieve project targets and completion within budget and on time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Report to the Construction Manager and assist in technical matters related to the Works of the Project.
  • Conduct technical reviews of construction documents and advise the Project Director on all technical-related issues.
  • Respond to design changes and interact with commercial, planning, and contract departments.
  • Manage the project site technical department, comprising technical engineers and CAD drafters.
  • Prepare and review technical documents, such as Shop drawings, RFI's, and submit them following the submittal plans.
  • Liaise and follow-through with consultants, clients, authorities, and third parties to clarify technical matters and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Review technical submittals of subcontractors to ensure adequacy to contract requirements.
  • Attend meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on technical matters.
  • Implement control of Drawings and Technical Documents related to the Project.
  • Provide engineering support to resolve technical issues.
  • Arrange meetings with design consultants to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures and construction problems.
  • Perform other assignments associated with this position as may be appropriate and as requested by the project head.
Additional Responsibilities:

Review corrective and preventive actions in relation to project works NCR.
