Main Duties
  • Supervise and coordinate the entire butchery operation, from meat cutting to packaging.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs for butchers, focusing on their skill enhancement and career growth.
  • Implement stringent food safety protocols, upholding the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, and storing meat products efficiently.
  • Design and refine quality control processes to maintain product excellence.
  • Engage with customers, providing expert advice on meat selection and preparation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to create unique meat products and special cuts.
  • Stay current with industry trends, introducing innovative techniques and products as necessary.
  • Ensure that all meat products conform to halal standards and cater to local preferences.
Essential Qualifications
  • Significant experience in professional butchery, accompanied by excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Achieved expertise in meat cuts, preparation methods, and butchery techniques.
  • Comprehensive understanding of food safety practices, HACCP principles, and UAE food safety regulations.
  • Precise proficiency in inventory management, cost control, and customer service.
  • Distinguished expertise in halal butchery practices and familiarity with local and international meat grading standards.
  • Superior communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.
  • Current food safety certification; professional butchery certification preferred.
