Job Summary:

The Machining Operations Specialist role involves measuring components to ensure proper fit and identifying potential problems by understanding machine specifications and drawings before production. Our team ensures that all tasks are executed according to HSE standards and company policy.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Follow process flow charts and interact with other departments as needed
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting to the IT department
  • Identify training requirements
Key Tasks:
  • Analyze assembly specifications to optimize process order for specific projects
  • Measure components to ensure proper fit in the final design
  • Identify potential problems by understanding machine specifications and drawings before production
  • Assemble metal components
  • Polish finished components
  • Manufacture metal components and assemble tools, industrial machinery, and machine components
  • Maintain equipment
  • Take accurate measurements
  • Collaborate with machinists
  • Execute tasks as requested by the R&D Director or immediate Supervisor within the assigned job role
Requirements:
  • ITI Technical certificate / OR Diploma mechanical (Industrial training institute)
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in engineering/design department for production of design/shop drawings/material submittals
  • Prior experience in inline inspection is preferred
  • Knowledgeable in Siemens & Fanuc control operating system
  • Language: Fluent in English and Hindi
Working Conditions:
  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties in a refinery or plant environment
  • Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing to communicate effectively
  • Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively
  • Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department
  • Personal Mobility and Reflexes: Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary
