POSITION OVERVIEW:

ABOUT PETROLEUM SERVICES:
The Petroleum Services division focuses on the analysis of petroleum reservoir rock and fluid samples to optimize production and enhance the recovery of crude oil and natural gas. Our expertise provides essential subsurface data and innovative solutions that empower clients to meet the global demand for reliable and sustainable energy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adhere to relevant Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols while executing duties.
  • Conduct analyses in accordance with established procedures and quality assurance protocols.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment, ensuring proper sample storage and disposal.
  • Ensure laboratory equipment is properly maintained and calibrated prior to use.
  • Execute advanced laboratory tests related to petrophysical properties and relative permeability.
  • Interpret scientific data, perform necessary calculations, and maintain accurate laboratory records.
  • Document test results from various laboratory instruments and equipment.
  • Participate in departmental and safety meetings to promote a culture of safety and collaboration.
  • Be prepared to undertake additional tasks as required within the scope of the role.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The position may require overtime, including nights and weekends, as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Geology).
  • A minimum of 24 months of experience in a similar advanced analytical role.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills in the local language and technical English.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical capabilities.
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications (e.g., MS Windows, Word, Excel).
  • Familiarity with laboratory software systems (e.g., LIMS, LabView).
