About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Maintenance Specialist to join our team at JLL. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our commercial HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC systems, including chillers, cooling towers, pumps, motors, air handlers, and automation/control systems.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and repair service work on HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems to maintain peak operational condition.
  • Assist in the evaluation, training, and coaching of a workforce of maintenance technicians.
  • Prepare and submit requests for parts purchase and purchase orders.
  • Self-start and identify areas requiring attention.
  • Perform minor repairs to the lawn and grounds of the site.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Safety and Compliance

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Safe Work Practices, including energized work, working at heights, and confined spaces.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory laws and guidelines related to building infrastructure.
  • Responsible for alerting management of building discrepancies.
  • Ability to understand and use proper PPE.
  • Maintain documentation for regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • GED or equivalent.
  • 7 years of HVAC facility-related work experience or comparable experience.
  • Certification as a Universal Technician for CFCs (or within 90 days of employment), EPA Universal Certification, and R410a certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance processes.
  • Ability to effectively use computers and computer programs (including Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Skill in using the internet to navigate to and use web-based applications.
  • Ability to use handheld electronic devices (PDA, Blackberry, cell phones, etc.).
  • Demonstrated verbal/written communication skills.
  • Ability to create, modify, and edit processes, procedures, and reports.
  • Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service.
