Key Responsibilities
  • Tidy and Maintain Clinical Areas

Ensure that all clinical areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies and equipment.

Escort Patients

Provide escort services for patients between departments and rooms, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.

Assist with Daily Living

Offer assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, as needed.

Operate Equipment

Be proficient in the use of specific equipment used in our hospital's departments, including vital sign monitors and oxygen saturation devices.

Manage Emergencies

Anticipate, recognize, and manage emergencies and unsafe situations, reporting to the RN as necessary.

Take Vital Signs

Take vital signs, oxygen saturation, and blood sugar readings, and report the results to the RN.

Facilitate Change

Influence and facilitate change within the department to improve standards of care and patient safety.

Promote Patient Safety

Encourage an environment that enables patient safety, independence, quality of life, and health.

Perform Duties Professionally

Carry out all duties in a professional and confidential manner, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements
  • Basic Education

A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

General Hospital Experience

At least 2 years of general hospital experience is required.

Overseas Experience

Previous overseas experience is preferred but not essential.

Quality Improvement Knowledge

Familiarity with quality improvement, nursing standards, infection control, and healthcare delivery systems is essential.

Policies and Procedures

Familiarity with all policies related to the department and work environment is required.

Document Retrieval

Able to locate all policies and other relevant documents from the Intranet portal.
