  • Vital Signs and Reporting: Take vital signs, O2 saturation, and blood sugar readings, and report the results to the RN.
  • Quality Improvement and Patient Safety: Influence and facilitate change within the department to improve standards of care, promoting an environment that enables patient safety, independence, quality of life, and health.
  • Professional Conduct: Perform all duties in a professional and confidential manner.
Requirements
  • Basic Education: A basic education is required for this role.
  • General Hospital Experience: At least 2 years of general hospital experience is required.
  • Overseas Experience: Previous overseas experience is required but not essential.
  • Quality Improvement and Healthcare Knowledge: Familiarity with quality improvement, nursing standards, infection control, and healthcare delivery systems is essential.
  • Policies and Procedures: Familiarity with all policies related to the department and work environment is required.
  • Document Access: Ability to locate all policies and other relevant documents from the Intranet portal.
