Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand product needs for each brand.
  • Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for approved suppliers across multiple sectors.
  • Review supplier quotations, ensuring thorough price and service comparisons are submitted for approval.
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery, product quality, and service levels meet expectations.
  • Update the supplier database within the procurement system, categorizing suppliers by product type and brand.
  • Handle procurement transactions through ERP systems, minimizing manual paperwork and ensuring accuracy and traceability.
  • Generate periodic reports using system data, providing insights for management review.
  • Identify and propose new suppliers to enhance product variety, pricing, or service terms.
  • Attend industry exhibitions and trade shows to stay updated on market trends and build supplier relationships.
  • Coordinate with Inventory Controllers to maintain balanced stock levels across brands and locations.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures in all purchasing activities and ensure procurement standards are met.
