Reporting to: Facilities Supervisor

Responsible for: Ensuring the overall cleanliness and operational support of the facilities under the guidance of the Facilities Supervisor.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday

Objectives:

  1. To uphold and guarantee a superior level of cleanliness throughout the office and its surroundings.
  2. To assist in the efficient and effective management of all facility operations.
  3. To consistently maintain the company's standards and ensure adherence to established rules and procedures.
  4. To surpass the customer service expectations of staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Thorough and discreet cleaning of all areas within a dynamic office environment, including public spaces, offices, and restrooms.
  2. Support in waste management activities.
  3. Assisting with the transfer of furniture and boxes.
  4. Inventory management support.
  5. Assisting with and supervising deliveries.
  6. Restocking all facility supplies and ensuring housekeeping staff are adequately equipped to perform their duties.
  7. Reporting any necessary repairs in the building and maintenance needs of cleaning equipment.
  8. Handling basic maintenance requests, such as changing light bulbs, painting, and assembling furniture.
  9. Contributing to the preservation of the building's integrity.
  10. Maintaining confidentiality regarding participant, consumer, staff, volunteer, and organizational matters.
  11. Regular and punctual attendance at work.
  12. Assisting with additional duties as required and directed.
  13. Collaborating closely with the Facilities Supervisor and reporting any issues related to staff or procedures.

Job Requirements:

  1. 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or customer service-oriented role.
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  3. Professional appearance, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
  4. Physically fit and in good health.
  5. Willingness to work shifts and at short notice; reliable and a team player.
  6. Experience in DIY tasks is desirable.
