Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at ENGIE Middle East. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our buildings and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean building floors, walls, and surfaces using various cleaning equipment and solutions.
  • Trash and Recycling: Gather and empty trash and recyclables, and ensure that all waste is disposed of properly.
  • Restroom Maintenance: Clean and restock restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and mirrors.
  • Security and Safety: Monitor building security and safety, and perform tasks such as locking doors and checking electrical appliance use.
  • Reporting and Requisitioning: Notify managers of any maintenance or repair needs, and requisition supplies and equipment as necessary.
  • Event Preparation: Set up and remove decorations, tables, chairs, and other equipment for events such as banquets and meetings.
  • Pest Control: Spray insecticides and fumigants to prevent insect and rodent infestation.
  • Furniture and Fixture Cleaning: Clean and polish furniture and fixtures, including windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
  • Dusting and Polishing: Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment, and polish surfaces as needed.
  • Cleaning Solutions: Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
  • Carpet Cleaning: Steam-clean or shampoo carpets as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to be physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment and supplies.
