Job Summary

The AECOM Land Surveyor is responsible for performing various duties associated with surveying. This may include the direction and preparation of boundary surveys, easements, and descriptions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct record research, construction stakeout, and boundary, topographic, transportation, and utility surveys using total stations and data collectors.
  • Review information from survey teams regarding measurements, directions, angles between points, and elevation of points, lines, and contours on land and below ground level.
  • Plan field work and select known survey reference points.
  • Determine the precise location of important features in the survey area.
  • Research legal records, look for evidence of previous boundaries, and analyze data to determine the location of boundary lines.
  • Record the results of surveys and verify accuracy of data.
  • Prepare plots, maps, and reports, including metes and bounds descriptions.

Qualifications :

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in a relevant engineering field (Civil, Geodetic, or related field).

Experience

  • Candidates should hold a Civil Engineering degree with at least 7 years of experience in land surveying or a Diploma holder with minimum 10 years of experience in similar works.

Working Conditions :

No remote work available.
