About the Role

Asterix Communications is seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP (Events and Commercial) to lead the development and implementation of strategic marketing initiatives within the exhibitions industry.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Drive Business Growth: Lead critical sales and lead multicultural teams to surpass targets, driving revenue and expanding the company's presence in the exhibitions industry.
  2. Forge Strategic Partnerships: Forge new partnerships to enhance event influence and commercial success, leveraging relationships to drive business growth and expansion.
  3. Innovate Event Strategies: Innovate event strategies for market leadership and high NPS scores, staying ahead of the competition and driving customer satisfaction.
  4. Develop Marketing Campaigns: Develop marketing campaigns for global reach and engagement, leveraging digital channels to drive business growth and expansion.
  5. Deliver Exceptional Experiences: Deliver engaging on-site experiences beyond exhibits, creating memorable moments for customers and driving loyalty.
  6. Curate Benchmarked Conferences: Curate benchmarked conferences and knowledge programs, providing valuable insights and expertise to customers.
  7. Expand Event Portfolio: Expand event portfolio in existing and new sectors, locally and internationally, driving business growth and expansion.
  8. Optimize Digital Engagement: Optimize digital engagement and CRM strategies for client relationships, leveraging data to drive business growth and expansion.
  9. Cultivate Community Ties: Cultivate community ties and deep engagement through digital initiatives, building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  10. Ensure Operational Efficiency: Ensure operational efficiency within stipulated budgets and timelines, driving business growth and expansion while maintaining a high level of quality.
  11. Monitor Departmental Objectives: Monitor departmental objectives and deliverables through KPI dashboards, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  12. Manage Governance Practices: Manage governance practices, compliance, and audit issues, ensuring a high level of integrity and transparency within the organization.
  13. Represent Visitor Feedback: Represent visitor feedback to inform growth strategies, leveraging customer insights to drive business growth and expansion.
  14. Lead and Develop a Team: Lead and develop a team of Directors and Managers for peak performance, driving business growth and expansion through effective leadership and development.
  15. Drive Operational Creativity: Drive operational creativity and talent development for seamless customer experiences, leveraging innovation to drive business growth and expansion.
  16. Collaborate with Cross-Functions: Collaborate with cross-functions for optimal operational efficiencies, driving business growth and expansion through effective collaboration and communication.
Qualifications:

Education: Master's in Business Administration or equivalent, with a strong understanding of the exhibitions industry and strategic marketing initiatives.

Experience: Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, including 8 years in C-level roles within Exhibitions, with a proven track record of driving business growth and expansion.
