Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the problem and establish the work scope for Electrical engineering projects.
  • Prepare budgets and schedules for Electrical engineering projects.
  • Plan and provide technical direction for Electrical engineering projects.
  • Report the work status of Electrical engineering projects.
  • Develop and/or supervise the creation of Electrical engineering products, including detailed calculations, drawings, procurement documents, design and installation packages, proposal evaluations, technical reports, and detailed analyses.
  • Provide support for other engineering activities as required.
  • Supervise one or more subordinates and provide input regarding performance.
  • May be assigned to a project or organizational team or as a lead engineer for a specific discipline on a small to intermediate size project.
  • Provide input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project.
  • Experience and familiarity with Dubai Local Authorities (RTA) procedural requirements, review requirements, and approval requirements.
  • Review the drawing & design before RTA approval submittal.
  • Follow up with Contractor as well as RTA for getting approval to maintain all files and records on designated forms/format.
  • Ensure that the contractor is not relieved of his responsibility without client authorization.
  • Coordinate with RTA contractor for execution of LV/HV work.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Electrical engineering design and development.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Electrical engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with Dubai Local Authorities (RTA) procedural requirements, review requirements, and approval requirements.
