Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Executive - Financial Planning & Analysis/MIS to drive financial insights, strategic planning, and operational efficiency across our Retail division. This role is pivotal in ensuring financial data accuracy, supporting executive decision-making, and enhancing our overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Planning & Analysis:
    1. Lead the financial and management reporting processes, including the preparation of business forecasts at the group level, using various financial models based on historical trends and market forecasts.
    2. Manage the corporate budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring the accuracy and timely submission of financial data, including Last Estimates forecasts and annual budgets.
    3. Collaborate with senior management to develop assumptions for budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  2. MIS Reporting:
    1. Prepare and manage the production of monthly, quarterly, and yearly MIS reports, including balance sheets, cash flow statements, and P&Ls, to provide a clear view of financial performance across all business units.
    2. Implement and oversee financial consolidation tools to streamline reporting processes and ensure data accuracy.
    3. Design and maintain smart tools and processes for improving the efficiency of internal reporting and MIS.
  3. Performance Monitoring:
    1. Conduct variance analysis, including Actuals vs. Budget/LE, and provide qualitative insights to guide strategic decisions.
    2. Monitor key financial and operational KPIs, including revenue, staff costs, and expenses, to ensure alignment with business goals.
    3. Support the Head of Finance in preparing and presenting financial performance reviews to the CEO and other senior executives.
  4. Continuous Improvement:
    1. Test the effectiveness of internal controls, identify areas for improvement, and implement automated and simplified processes to enhance operational efficiency.
    2. Ensure compliance with group referential and procedures and guarantee the accuracy of financial information at all stages of the operating cycle.
Qualifications:
  1. MBA or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and MIS reporting, with a focus on multi-industry business environments.
  3. Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and ERP systems.
  4. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  5. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Work Environment:

This role is primarily office-based in Dubai, UAE, with occasional travel to various business units as required. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, contributing to the financial success and operational excellence of Elaf Group's diverse business portfolio.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: From AED18,250.00 per month
