As a Cashier at Accor, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions with guests, ensuring accurate and efficient settlement of bills. Your duties will include:

  • Verifying guest identification and ensuring the correct amount of money is received when settling a check by cash.
  • Visually verifying the name on the check against the display and requesting a second proof of identification if necessary.
  • Informing guests that personal or company cheques are not accepted as a form of settlement in our F&B outlet.
  • Advising guests to exchange foreign currency at the Front Desk and pay by local currency.
  • Being punctual on duty and maintaining a professional appearance.
  • Complying with all hotel rules and regulations as outlined in the handbook.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience as a Cashier or Waiter handling similar responsibilities.
  • Diploma/ BS degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Additional European language is an asset.
  • Excellent problem resolution skills, outstanding communication, and active listening skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Highly responsible and reliable with a professional presentation.
