Biomedical Engineer

University Hospital Sharjah is seeking a highly experienced Biomedical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the maintenance and operation of medical equipment, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Management: Oversee the installation, testing, and maintenance of medical equipment to ensure it meets the hospital's standards and regulatory requirements.
- Technical Expertise: Provide advanced technical support and training to hospital staff on the operation and maintenance of medical equipment.
- Leadership and Supervision: Lead a team of biomedical engineers and technicians, providing guidance and oversight to ensure effective equipment management and maintenance.
- Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with hospital departments to ensure seamless integration of medical equipment and services.
- Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure medical equipment meets the hospital's standards and regulatory requirements.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 7-10 years of experience in medical equipment operations and maintenance management.
- Skills: Advanced electronic training, familiarity with regulatory and inspection requirements, factory training on major medical equipment, supervisory and interpersonal skills, excellent communication and presentation skills.
