Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Biomedical Engineer to join our team at University Hospital Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the maintenance and operation of medical equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and providing leadership to the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Management: Oversee the installation, testing, and maintenance of medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards for medical equipment.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and supervision to team members, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including hospital staff, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve complex technical issues related to medical equipment, minimizing downtime and ensuring patient safety.
Requirements
  • Experience: 7-10 years of experience in medical equipment operations and maintenance management.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
  • Skills: Advanced electronic training, familiarity with regulatory and inspection requirements, factory training on major medical equipment, supervisory and interpersonal skills, excellent communication and presentation skills.
