The Club Lounge Server is responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests. Key responsibilities include:

  • Reading daily events to acknowledge VIP arrivals
  • Knowledge of menu items, garnishes, contents, and preparation methods
  • Presentation of children's menus and description of specials and alternative cuisine
  • Serving and clearing food and beverage items in a professional manner
  • Utilizing the POS system to ring up sales, print checks, and complete cash-out procedures
  • Carrying trays, busing, and resetting tables with linen, china, glass, and silver
  • Ensuring guest satisfaction and handling any problems that may arise
  • Following cash and credit card procedures according to accounting guidelines
  • Maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly restaurant throughout service
  • Polishing silver, refilling salt, pepper, and sugar, and creamers
  • Ensuring work stations are stocked with condiments at all times
  • Reporting guest comments regarding food and beverage to the manager
  • Conscientious handling and maintenance of operating equipment
  • Learning and adhering to safety, sanitation, and hygiene policies
  • Maintaining good working relationships with colleagues and other departments
  • Maintaining complete knowledge of all F&B services, outlets, and hotel services/features
  • Performing opening/closing side duties as assigned and setting all tables according to standards
  • Reporting any deviations from set standards and procedures to the manager
  • Ensuring all service and storage areas are kept safe and clean
  • Helping to minimize waste, neglect, breakages, and mishandling of supplies and equipment
  • Carrying out light cleaning and maintenance of the outlet
  • Assisting other Food & Beverage Outlets in their operations during peak hours if needed

Requirements:

  • Average reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English
  • Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times
  • Able to account and handle cash effectively and efficiently
  • Good communication and customer contact skills; good problem resolution skills
  • Basic F&B product knowledge
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail

Qualifications:

  • Secondary education

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of food and beverage serving experience
  • Previous public contact and/or cashiering experience
