Your Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for managing IT, General Procurement, and contracting related activities in a transparent, timely, and cost-efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing departmental policies, standards, rules, and procedures for cost-effective procurement operations.
  • Supervise procurement & contract management activities guided by GMG groups policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Oversee physical verification and reconciliation of stock on a monthly basis and ensure compliance with the Group's cost criteria.
  • Manage consumption patterns, cost, and inventory carrying cost, etc., to set inventory controls and monitor storage costs.
  • Manage competitive bidding process including the generation of RFPs/RFQs, as well as the receipt, opening, evaluation, and custody of received bids.
  • Monitor contracts progress and payment status and ensure appropriate reporting of project contract status.
  • Develop supplier sourcing strategies in consultation with stakeholders to optimize cost and quality.
  • Manage negotiations with vendors/suppliers of major services and critical contracts prices, credit terms, and other conditions of the agreement.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in contract management or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing procurement operations.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to negotiate with vendors/suppliers.
