About the Role

We're seeking a Senior Planning Engineer with a robust background in project planning and scheduling. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in the industry, with a minimum of 5 years working in Dubai or the UAE. This role requires strong leadership and team management abilities, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive project schedules and plans to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Utilize advanced planning tools and methodologies to create and manage detailed project schedules.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Oversee and coordinate planning activities for multiple projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, providing analysis and reports on schedule adherence, critical path activities, and potential risks.
  • Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, delays, and resource constraints, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Generate status reports for senior management and clients, highlighting key issues and recommending solutions.
  • Facilitate planning meetings, workshops, and coordination sessions to ensure effective communication and collaboration among project teams.
  • Mentor junior planning engineers and other team members.
