Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Design Manager

Job Summary:

Parsons Oman is seeking a highly experienced Senior Infrastructure Design Manager to lead our design team in the development of infrastructure design services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure design, project management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design team in the development of infrastructure design services, including roads and infrastructure projects.
  • Manage the design process from concept to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Excellence team to ensure design standards and guidelines are met.
  • Develop and implement design strategies, monitor and evaluate design trends and technologies.
  • Present design to stakeholders, including clients and project teams.
  • Manage design resources and assets, including personnel and equipment.
  • Analyze customer feedback and adjust designs accordingly.
  • Collaborate and communicate with project teams and stakeholders throughout the design process.
  • Manage and monitor change management and risk management.
  • Develop project design delivery program and resources plan.
  • Exercise internal design coordination and secure quality management and control.
  • Review of developed design reports, specs, drawings, and final documents for clients.
  • Interface management among all disciplines involved in Design delivery.
  • Weekly and monthly reporting to PD and clients.
  • Support on Project Bidding and resources development.

Requirements:

  • MSc or BSc (Civil engineering) from an accredited University, along with professional certifications.
  • Minimum 20 years relevant experience in Roads and infrastructure design.
  • Design of infrastructure projects within a Consulting environment.
  • Extensive experience in Design Management and Project Management of Master plans and mix-use development in Mena region.
  • Excellent communication skills, including report writing and presentation skills.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency with Word, Excel, Power Point, Microsoft project.
  • Knowledge in Primavera and Autodesk Civil 3D.
  • Knowledge in Esri GIS.
  • Knowledge in Bentley software's.
  • Organized and self-motivated.
  • Prior experience in leading multi discipline teams and facing clients.
  • Knowledge in BIM for roads and infrastructure.
