Key Responsibilities
  • Health and Safety Management: Develop and implement effective health and safety policies, procedures, and programs to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Incident Investigation and Reporting: Conduct thorough investigations into incidents and near-misses, and provide recommendations for corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Training and Awareness: Design and deliver training programs to educate employees on health and safety best practices, and promote a culture of safety awareness throughout the organization.
  • Compliance and Audits: Ensure that the company's health and safety management system is compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, and conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, facilities, and HR, to ensure that health and safety considerations are integrated into all aspects of the business.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications: NEBOSH certified International General Certificate, or equivalent HSE certification.
  • Work Experience: More than 5 years of sound HSE work experience, with at least 2 years' experience in the UAE.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge of OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 & ISO 14001, and experience in mall operational environments, facilities management, or retail industry.
  • Personal Qualities: Flexibility to work in various shifts, including night shifts, and a strong commitment to promoting a culture of safety and well-being.
