Job Description

The Senior Placemaking Professional will lead the implementation of placemaking, masterplanning, and urban design functions. This role involves supporting leadership in meeting business, statutory, legal, and contractual requirements.

The successful candidate will provide reporting on progress to client leadership and oversee the masterplan team. Additionally, they will be responsible for the urban design team, including remuneration, mobility, and development.

This role requires an enabler for change and business improvement. The Senior Placemaking Professional will deliver delegated elements of an annual business plan and provide strategic advice to senior leadership on urban design matters.

Key responsibilities include chairing Urban Design business improvement workshops, line managing urban design team members, and overseeing external certifications. The Senior Placemaking Professional will also be responsible for an external certification program, leading specific activities, and overseeing external audits.

This role is ideal for a Senior Placemaking Professional who can manage investigations and root cause analysis of instances of non-conformance. They will identify corrective measures and long-term preventative measures.
