Job Description

**Job Title:** Process Operator - Production and Operations

**Company:** Al Nahiya Group

**Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Operator to join our team in the Production and Operations department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our chemical plant, including the preparation of status updates, collection of oil samples, and operation of loading pumps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence: Prepare daily operation reports, daily work reports, and daily production reports to facilitate decision-making and ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Quality Control: Collect oil samples, conduct tank level measurements, and stock calculations to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform preventive maintenance activities, such as checking alarms, cleaning pump strainers, and greasing valves, to maintain equipment efficiency.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Attend daily meetings to discuss operational work, carry out instructions, and ensure adherence to HSE standards.
  • Inventory Management: Charge chemicals into MEA, DGA, and TEG units, and maintain stock levels of chemicals, lube oil, and other materials.
  • Process Optimization: Recognize process operation changes, use DCS records, trends, and logging reports to control abnormal variations, and implement process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma in Chemical Engineering or any engineering discipline.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a Process/Plant Operator.
  • Skills: Good communication skills, proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
