Job Title: Safety Coordinator Warehouse Operations

We are seeking an experienced Safety Coordinator to join our Warehouse Operations team at Emirates Logistics LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of all employees working in our warehouse facilities.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all Health & Safety (H&S) related matters in the facility. This includes preparing and maintaining H&S checklists, ensuring all workers are wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and conducting daily rounds to identify any abnormalities and hazards.

You will work closely with supervisors and management to maintain discipline and harmony in the facility, report any indiscipline or dishonest conduct by workers, and assist in recording Incident & Accident reports.

In addition, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and keeping records of safety equipment and tools, arranging for their periodic checkup and repair, and providing First Aid to staff as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee the implementation of H&S policies and procedures in the facility.
  2. Develop and maintain H&S training programs for employees.
  3. Conduct regular H&S audits to identify areas for improvement.
  4. Collaborate with supervisors and management to resolve H&S-related issues.
  5. Communicate effectively with employees on H&S matters.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of H&S principles and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and discretion.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
