About the Role:
  • Supervise and coordinate on all Health & Safety (H&S) related matters in the facility, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Prepare and maintain H&S checklists identified in the facility, monitoring and reporting any deviations or issues.
  • Arrange and ensure all workers are wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), promoting a safe working environment.
  • Conduct daily rounds of the facility to identify any abnormalities and hazards, coordinating with supervisors for resolution.
  • Maintain discipline and harmony in the facility in coordination with Supervisors and Managers, reporting any indiscipline or disruptive conduct to management.
  • Assist in having periodic H&S training and safety awareness for all staff to encourage safe working practices, conducting Safety Induction training for new staff.
  • Inspect, maintain, and keep records of safety equipment and tools, arranging for their periodic checkup and repair.
  • In charge of First Aid kits, keeping stock and records of items and arranging for daily replenishment. Provide First Aid to staff as needed.
  • Participate in conducting evacuation drills and lead emergency evacuations with the designated evacuation team, ensuring prompt response to emergencies.
  • Monitor high-risk activities in the facility, implementing measures to mitigate risks and prevent accidents.
